We make our range of powder-coated aluminium panels as well as in other materials to meet the specifications of your building or project specification. Superior Insulated Panels make our high quality panels with a variety of thermal cores, insulation thickness as well as backing materials.
As a result, we are your trusted panels manufacturer, helping door and window contractors, facade installers and anyone looking for general powder-coated aluminium panels.
Information about powder coated aluminium panels.
First of all, you benefit from aluminium panels all made-to-order from the best grade of aluminium sheet and in a choice of styles, shapes and sizes. Additionally, the aluminium sheets and backing trays give you total choice too. From a popular product, such as a simple flat panel as well as a more elaborate design, we have the machinery, skills and knowledge.
Besides general cladding, our powder-coated aluminium panel suit the glazing rebated of any aluminium door and window system and curtain walling. You can also use our panels in shopfronts, internal doors, internal office partitions and many other fenestration products.
Here are just some of the materials we can use to manufacture glaze-in or cladding panels.
Thermal GRP
The outer Face of thermal GRP of film coated glass reinforced plastic. This specially developed film is heat bonded to the laminate during manufacture and cannot be removed. Importantly, this film adds significantly to the life of the panels by providing ultra-violet light and graffiti resistance. Therefore, it ensures that the application of anti-graffiti spray will not affect or discolour the panel.
Thermal PVC
Thermal PVC comes with a 200 micron (nominal thickness) high performance Plastisol vinyl coating. The coating is on a galvanised steel hot-dip zinc coated substrate to BS EN 10147. Additionally, the standard reverse side coating comes specially formulated with a two-coat protective system of corrosion resistant primer. This is also topped with heat cured polyester. Therefore, the plastisol facing comes in a wide range of British Standard Colours to meet most modern architectural designs.
Thermal PPC
Thermal PPC is polyester powder coated steel or aluminium faced laminate. The exact specification of the panel depends on the designer’s particular requirements, such as colour, grade and base metal. The exact facing comes in a range of British Standard and RAL Colours. As a result we help you meet most modern architectural designs.
Thermal UPVC
Thermal uPvC combines the weathering characteristics of high quality uPVC with a silk matt finish. The basic colour of the panel is white or also shade matched. Moreover, this helps meet the various whites of major PVC-u window and door profile extruders. As a result, this product not only matches the surrounding frame materials but also looks good for years to come.
Thermal HPL
Thermal High-Pressure laminate offers designers an alternative facing, also aesthetically pleasing, robust and practical. This product is especially suitable for areas such as those prone to vandalism. A 3mm facing consists of resin-impregnated cellulose faced with UV resistant melamine. As a result, you benefit from high impact strength and weather resistance.
Thermal SFP
For traditional stone-dashed finishes, our thermal Stone Faced Panel (SFP) provides solutions. Not only is this suitable for curtain-walling but also for cladded buildings. Furthermore, the attractive stone chip finish comes fused to a 6 or 7mm polyester resin cladding panel during manufacture. Therefore the product comes with a traditional dashed appearance, also blending naturally with environmentally conscious designs.
Thermal FRC
Thermal Fibre Reinforced Cement panel is a composite cladding and curtain-wall panel. Specify this product with confidence in a variety of applications such as soffit linings. As well as this, the glazed face of the panels comes in a variety of British Standard colours. Therefore, choose this product to blend in easily with various brick shades, glass tints and common indigenous stone. Manufactured from fully compressed autoclaved rigid fibre cement sheets. Finally, sophisticated colour schemes and patterns are achievable with thermal FRC.
Panel Core
The core of the panels depends on the intended application and the specified thermal conductivity. Various insulating cores include Rigid Urethane Form, Expanded or Extruded Polystyrene, Phenolic Foam, Mineral Wool, Cement Particle Board and Moisture Resistant Boards.
Fire Protection
Where the specification calls for a fire rating, contact us for more information. We offer a range of panels offering different levels of fire resistance such as 1-hour rating.
Thermal Properties
‘U’ values as low as 0.25W/m2K can be attained from construction incorporating thermal panels. A thermal and condensations risk analysis service is available on request, please contact our Technical Services Department.
Maintenance of powder-coated aluminium panels
Our panels require cleaning with low-pressure water systems. For more complex cleaning such as Graffiti, use any approved and proprietary system. However, we advise testing first on a small and invisible area.
Health and Safety
Thermal products are chemically inert and safe to use. Contact us for information about satisfying the requirements of the ‘Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations, 1998’ (CoSHH).
Packaging of powder coated aluminium panels and other products.
Our panels come supplied wrapped and palletised. We also provide labels with product code numbers and sizing details. Decorative panels come supplied interleaved or with low-tack film applied to the decorative facings. Individual panels also available numbered to suit glass and panel schedules as wel as curtain walling grids.
