Modern windows and panels to enhance older buildings.
Many older buildings feature old metal windows and thin panels or cladding. As technology has advanced windows are far more insulated than before and aluminium panels feature great insulation to give them low U Values.
The Hampton by Hilton Hotel was refurbished with market leading aluminium windows from Senior Architectural Systems. These feature advanced thermal breaks for insulation, solar control glass as well as acoustic double glazed units.
In addition to the high specification aluminium windows, spandrel glazing in RAL 1035 was also used. This complemented the RAL 1036 gold effect powder coated colour used for the windows.
As well as the windows and spandrel glazing, a new curtain walling system also by Senior Architectural was installed. This also features aluminium panels to the ground floor.
Aluminium panels can work with windows for low U Values.
Aluminium insulated panels thanks to their aluminium faced and superior thermal insulation can achieve very low U values. This is ideal for older buildings constructed with less thermally efficient materials originally. They can now be upgraded with superior windows, glazing and panels to help improve the comfort and thermal performance of the building as a whole.
