Superior Insulated Panels have worked with specialist window and curtain walling installer JPJ installations in the supply of Trespa Insulated panels to an Essex School.
Graham James Primary school is a single story 1960’s building that has recently undergone a refurbishment programme to bring it up to date and provide a better learning environment for its pupils.
In addition to the works that comprised new windows, doors and framing, high impact resistant Trespa Insulated panels were also provided.
What are the advantages of Trespa Panels?
Trespa panels are widely used in construction as they bring many advantages to buildings and architectural cladding generally. Whether used as stand alone panels or as part of a facade, Trespa panels help create excellent external features to commercial properties.
Trespa panels benefit from a high pressure compact laminate and comprise wood based fibres and thermosetting resins as part of their insulation properties. They are then manufactured under high pressure resulting in a panel that is highly durable, very stable and with excellent strength to weight ratios.
Over 150m2 of high impact Trespa Insulated Panels were provided for the school.
Graham James School as part of it’s overall refurbishment programme was having major external cladding works. The project called for aluminium panels that would blend in with the surrounding and single storey structure of the old building.
It was necessary to provide panels that would withstand the demanding school environment. The colours provided were also chosen to create a vibrant and bright environment for the pupils.
The trespa panels supplied are also easy to cut and work with on site if required as well as being suitable for curving or shaping to meet specific site conditions.
The external qualities of Trespa panels men that they perform very well in outdoor environments being resistant to UV rays, rainfall and external contaminants such as acid rain.
Our panels undergo accelerated weather testing as part of their design process meaning they will perform and retain their colour for decades to come.
